Waking up in a penthouse of 7000sqft with panoramic views of greens is inspiring and heavenly. As you descend a grand spiral staircase, a privately shielded dining space leaks into view through sleek timber screens and links you to an adjourning kitchen.
In a cheerful palette of bright yellow with pale gold, the kitchen is spacious even with an island unit.
At the adjacent living room, full-height glass doors line the hall and the view beyond permeates through soft bronze drapes. Ridiculously large, the marbled-decked hall is furnished with a smart palette of beige and gold with accents of black and red. Taking center stage is a gold-glided chandelier tipping above a square black crystal-glass coffee table. At its side, a 3m recliner-sofa oozes masculinity in its deep brown leather. Adding a sense of quirk are 3 pairs of dissimilar armchairs – 1 with its chilly red and classical silver frame flaunting like a pair of display, 1 in creamy leather with rotund shape inviting you to curl up in it, the last, a beautifully structured frame with bold motifs of beige and black. At the back of the wall, a suspended oxyn-block is both a stunning structure and a light box for displaying precious and curios.
The house has a main door on both 1st and 2nd storey. The 1st storey’s opens to a curved foyer, mirroring the central spiral stairs. A large swirl of pearl-panels lined the curved wall. Red accents continue in lushly upholstered curved settees and a whimsical sculpture of a voluptuous woman covered by red polka-dot sash, greeting you as you enter.
Upstairs, the consistency continues in the Bathrooms with beige marble, iridescent gold laminate and customized mirrors in antique-gold frame flanked by unique wall lamps. Only the Powder Room is deliberately distinguished by its silver and black selection – diamond-shaped wallpaper, black granite, black ‘baroque’ framed mirror and metallic laminates.
