Instead, even though this bungalow is built in respond to the practicality of our tropical living but its inside is designed to exude a quiet, modern French style, fuelled by the many magazine pages of classic-chic interiors the lady of the house tagged lovingly.
We ensured our design approach would not distract

anyone from the space’s openness and the lush greeneries- window treatments are kept clean-cut yet soft in look. Cabinetry details are intricate but not ornate. Upholsteries are thick and fluffy but colors are pared-down. Glass replace where walls would not make sense. Walls are up where windows would have invited prying eyes.
It is constantly about a fine balance. But most of all, it is about successfully interpreting any unspoken brief from a client.
