A renowned shipping company founded more than 40 years ago decided to go for a makeover and looked to Ansana for their area of interior expertise.
The biggest challenge was the odd pentagon shape spanning 10,000 square feet set in Suntec City. The design firm rose up to the tribulation victoriously by prescribing a modern aesthetic comprising triptych sliding timber screens with oriental patterns and an intricate model of a vessel to greet visitors at its reception area.
First-time visitors will stand in awe of the rich Burmese teak flooring that flows through the conference room, guided by a large sweep of winding timber and glass slats. The ensemble is complemented by deep reds and yellow accents to add warmth. The most enigmatic space is the staff lounge which is highlighted by a down lit onyx counter and plush armchairs to complete the sophisticated, regal look. The dominant use of teak adds a sense of character and warmth to make this office modern, inspiring and conducive to work in.
